Swivel Pintle Hook

Gary Sr & I modified a drop hitch plate & a swivel pintle so we can utilize into a class III hitch receiver... See attached photo's
We had to do some drilling & minor cutting to the angled support bracket on the back of the hitch drop plate...
We also got some upgraded D rings to utilize.
I think it came out looking pretty good.
See attached photo's... I re-sized the photo's to be smaller... If anyone has any interest I still have high rez original's...

Holland Swivel Type Pintle Hook Hitch, PH-T-60-AOS-L-8, 18,000 lbs

Holland Product *.PDF this product is on page 9

You can use other products that are similar but this should give a good idea.
Then just buy a receiver drop plate. Make sure to get one that has an reinforcement on a 45 angle but that doesn't infer with the swivel pintle. You must drill a hole through the receiver drop plate & I had to just slightly cut/modify the very bottom of the angled reinforcement so the swivel action can occur smoothly & the 4 bolt plate can be tightened securely. I got a Swivel Type Pintle hitch with a provision for a grease Zerk.

exact costs are dependany upon what you can purchase the parts for... but this is not a huge cost en-devour.
hope this helps...

You can utilize one of these for off-road recovery taking full advantage of the swivel effect now... Newest generation model come with adapter feet so you no longer have to hook straight onto the D-rings . FYI
