Big Dog Offroad - moving into a bigger facility

Today we signed the documents on a new property. This will be a much larger facility for us to grow and expand. With the number of Hummers we've had at our existing facility for the past year or two we decided we really needed a larger facility to accommodate more service, more overhauls, and enough production room to fabricate more parts in house.

With our do-it-yourself Cummins conversion kit being released soon we needed more shop spare and more room in our parts department so we decided to "jump the gun" and upgrade facilities now before we launch that product rather than when we're slammed busy with 20 Hummers here.

We have been in communication with a production company as well that wants to document our daily shop life as well as one specific project we are working on to make into a series. Our new facility will have room for tech department offices, a conference room for meetings and interviews, and a break room so our employees can go hide away from the chaos, and a shower so our techs can get cleaned up after a hard day at work.

@ Matt......yes, plenty of parking. We will be able to keep our semi on site, plus 20-30 Hummers in addition to customer parking and employee parking.

We moved to 17981 W Colfax Ave in Golden. It's on Colfax near Heritage Square outside the 470 loop.

We're happy to be in our new facility and we're mostly unpacked (gosh that takes forever). It's a 6-bay shop with one bay for shop equipment (so 5 drive in doors), plenty of parking, and now my techs have a shower at the shop which makes everyone happy (our old shop didn't have a shower). We have more room for parts storage, pallet racking, etc as well.
