I think the Auburns are a better choice since it's basically a stock configuration. The ARB is probably fine but I didn't want to add a compressor for it.
I'm a little overwhelmed right now at how tight the limited slip is in the Auburn though. I'm going to drive it around and see if it loosens up. If it does I will install the rear but if it doesn't I will probably put the old diff back in. I will probably put my truck up for sale within the next year and I don't want to compromise the drive ability.
I'm already planning my next truck which will be a Hmmwv which I could put my Auburn diffs into. I would also do a 2" body lift with 40"s on dual beadlock wheels and front and rear winches.
No cool aid for me. I am active on the HML but mainly because there is no action here. Maybe everybody is in Facebook groups or something but I don't do Facebook.
